- 01-ed / -ing emotion adjectives
Use -ed (delighted / pleased / interested) when the subject is a person expressing a feeling; use -ing when the subject is a thing expressing a quality.
- 02Sentence insertion questions
Read at least one sentence before and after the blank, and use information that already appeared (dates, numbers) to work out which sentence fits the logic best.
- 03Memorize fixed prepositional phrases as a whole
Treat phrases like "according to" and "in accordance with" as single units to memorize — don't reason about them piece by piece.
- 04Verb + noun collocations
Memorize "complete a form," "submit an application," "attend a meeting" as whole phrases, not word by word.
